| Abstract: | A heuristic search method for reactive power/voltage corrective control is proposed in this paper. The method is characterised by following three features: (a) full use of the linear sensitivity of the QV subproblem, (b) successful implementation of a fast and effective heuristic search method to provide a corrective strategy with the fewest scheduling, (c) combining with the fast decoupled load flow to guarantee the effectiveness of the strategy. The method has been tested in detail on IEEE-30, 118 and a practical 95 bus systems. The results demonstrate that the proposed method is simple, fast and effective. Furthermore, it will be an important constituent of an expert system for power system reactive power/voltage control. |
