基于门限自适应的H.264帧间模式快速选择算法

摘    要:针对H.264/AVC运用基于率失真优化的全计算模式决策,引入巨大的计算复杂度,提出一种基于门限自适应的帧间宏块模式快速选择算法。该算法利用视频序列图像帧间时空域相关性,并运用动态门限来提高判决准确度。实验仿真表明,该算法在无明显降低编码质量的情况下,提高了编码速度,平均缩短编码时间89.94%。

Abstract:H.264/AVC achieves high coding efficiency due to variable-size block compensation,meanwhile a full mode decision based on rate-distortion optimization brings about tremendous computational complexity.To overcome this,a fast mode decision for inter-macroblock is proposed with adaptive threshold by utilizing the spatio-temporal correlation of the frames in video sequences.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm reduces the encoding time by 89.94% on average without consideration of performance degradation.
