| Abstract: | A new optimization method based on the principle of harmonic balance technique is used for the CAD of millimeter-wave mixers. A Wband balanced mixer and a W-band subharmonically pumped mixer are designed. The optimization results agree with the analysis results obtained from the general purpose software MIXANA, which was certificated by the Education Commission of Jiangsu Province, very well. This new optimization method is not only powerful for the CAD of millimeter-wave mixers but also for the CAD of other millimeter-wave nonlinear circuits. |
