| Abstract: | The author elucidated the milestone significance of the double helix model of DNA structure in three aspects at the 50 th anniversary of the mo del proposed: its influence on the allocation of research resources, on the regime change of the life science researches, and its impact on the entire scientific community and society. It has been concluded that the progress of sci ence and technology is irresistible, and the rationality of the human being will finally shine in the dark and bring our society a promising future. |
