摘    要:大幅度电离层相位扰动使得超视距雷达(over the horizon radar,OTHR)多普勒频谱严重展宽,限制了OTHR系统在船舶目标探测方面的实际应用。针对这一问题,根据邻近方位距离单元数据协方差矩阵的Toeplitz矩阵特性,估计电离层相位扰动的变化函数,提出一种无需提取标校信号的电离层相位扰动校正方法。仿真实验及分析表明,该方法能有效改善OTHR系统在大幅度电离层相位扰动背景下对船舶目标的检测性能。

Abstract:The large ionospheric phase perturbation, leading to serious Doppler spectrum spread in over the horizon radars (OTHR), restricts the application of the OTHR system in ship targets detection. To resolve this problem, the phase evolving function is estimated based on the Toeplitz characteristic of covariance matrix of the data in the near range and azimuth units, and an approach to correct ionospheric phase perturbation without filtering calibration signal is proposed. Simulation results and analysis show that it is effective in improving the performance of the OTHR system for ship targets detection.
