| Abstract: | The Walter Meissner's lifetime is reviewed in this paper.It also includes the prejudice on the cognition of superconductor and the experiment factors of failing to recognize the superconductor's magnetic property during 1911～1933.The Meissner's contribution to the development of superconducting physics and the discovery of Meissner effect are also introduced. |
