| 摘 要： | 通过对赵元任《谈人工翻译》(Translation Without Machine)的解读,分析阐述了赵元任对机器翻译和人工翻译的看法。并从赵元任对机器翻译和人工翻译的评述中得出启示:当代人工翻译研究和实践中应重点关注翻译策略的选择、翻译的文体风格、翻译中的跨文化问题以及翻译中的语用问题。同时,翻译研究需要进行跨学科研究,注重人工翻译和机器翻译的有效结合。

| Abstract: | With a brief analysis of Yuenren Chao＇s Translation without Machine,this paper focuses on Yuanren Chao＇s commentary on Human Translation and Machine Translation.From Yuenren Chao＇s essay,we get many enlightenments： 1.Several aspects modern researchers in translation studies should pay attention to：（1） the determination of translation strategies;（2） style in translation;（3） cross-cultural problems in translation;（4） pragmatic aspects in translation;2.Interdisciplinary methods should be applied in translation research;3.The possible effective integrated efforts of machine translation and human translation. |
