“基础英语”课程教学中的思维训练

英语专业的学生较其他理科专业的学生在思辨能力和创新能力方面常常略逊一筹。在"基础英语"重点课程建设中,教师应在教学中通过精心设计课堂教学活动,促进学生的思维训练、批判性阅读训练、朗读训练、修辞欣赏、主题研究等,帮助学生领会文章的主题,扩展拓深学生的理解,培养他们的批判性思维。

Developing Students' Creative Thinking in the Course of Intensive Reading

English majors are often attacked for their lack of creative thinking,which can actually,to a large extent,be compensated by teaching.In our project,the teachers try to integrate certain activities into their teaching,namely critical reading,reading aloud,rhetorical appreciation,and theme research,to improve the critical thinking among the students.
