标准单元法自动布图设计系统中的布局过程

摘    要:在总结了各种布局方法的基础上,结合库单元模式,采用了一种启发式方法,这种算法把复杂的二维平面布局问题转化为两个类似的较简单的一维问题,又将其划分为若干相关的布局子问题来加以解决。这种算法吸取了群法和min-cut方法的长处,目标函数意义明确,与布国目标一致性好,布局过程清晰,有较强的全局性考虑。用PASCAL语言完成了布局实用程序的设计,并服务于标准单元法自动布图设计系统,进行了实际电路的版图设计。

Abstract:With the cells library mode, a heuristic method is implemented to the standard-cell placement arithmetic problem. It transfers the complex two-dimensional placement problem to two analogous one-dimensional problems. The procedure is divided to many subproblems, and combines the advantages of burst and min-cut methods. The object function has a clear meaning, consistent closely with the layout requirement. The placement process is very transparent. The global problem is considered strongly. The placement procedure is implemented with PASCAL language. It forms a part of a standard cell approach auto layout design system. Many cicuits were successfully designed with it.
