| Abstract: | In this paper, the requirements of the product definition model in CAD/CAM integration system are summarized first, and then, the characteristics of design and manufacturing information and the relationship between them are analyzed by the Object Oriented approach, the design/manufacturing features (DM feature in short) is proposed. Based upon DM features, the structure of Object Oriented product definition model is established, which can function as the core basis to realize the CAD/CAM integration. |
