| Abstract: | A novel selective water plugging agent of interpenetrating polymer networks with W/O polyacrylamide latex and modified amino resin as major components was prepared for oilfields. Factors on which the characteristics of the obtained product depend are discused in this paper. This water plugging agent has excellant water plugging performance, high strength, long effective period, and resistance to high temperatures. It can be easily applied and de plugged as well. |
