Abstract:Rutin is extracted from the flower bud of Chinese scholartree using ultrasound with different frequencies. Compared with the method of hot alkali precipitate with acide, ultrasonic method does not need heating. The extraction rate can be increased by 47.56% using the ultrasound of 20 KHz for 30 minutes. The method is simple and time saving.
