关于高校教代会建设的几点思考

教职工代表大会是学校实行民主管理和民主监督的基本形式，是学校管理体制的重要组成部分，在动员广大教职工积极参与学校建设和改革，完善决策，维护教职工合法权益，促进学校廉政勤政建设等方面都具有重要作用。高等学校作为教育战线的排头兵，应按照党的十五大报告中关于加强企事业基层单位民主建设的要求和《教育法》，《教师法》，《高等教育法》的规定，从高校的实际出发，进一步健全和完善教代会制度，推进学校民主管理，不断提高高等教育质量和效益。

Some Thoughts on the Construction of the Higher School Staff Representative Conference

The staff representative conference in a higher school is a basic form to practise democratic management and supervision, and it is also an important part of the higher school management system, which plays an important role in mobilizing the staff to join in college's construction and reform, perfecting the college's decision, upholding the staff's legal rights, and promoting a college to be an efficient and honest one in performing college's duties. As a vanguard in the educational field, higher schools should follow both the requirements of the 15th NPC's report to strengthen the democratic construction of enterprises and institutions, and the regulations proposed by The Education Law, The Teacher Law and The Higher Education Law, we must, according to the college's reality, further strengthen and perfect the staff representative conference system, push on the democratic management of higher schools and improve unceasingly the quality and efficiency of higher education.
