英语外来语对汉语的渗透和影响

Penetration and Effect of Borrowed English on Chinese

Language,as a means of human communications,is invariably changing with constant acceptance from other languages and dismissal of old-dated ones.Foreign languages,especially English,have directly imposed great effect on Chinese.The development of Chinese is reflected upon in this article.It is pointed out that English has penetrated into various aspects of Chinese people's life,say,telecommunications,network,advertisement,commerce,tourism,entertainment,music,sports,etc.Pidgin English,Chinese-colored English,westernized Chinese translation,Chinglish,all have illustrated English's penetration into and effect on Chinese.Finally it is concluded that foreign languages have not only enlarged Chinese vocabulary but also enriched Chinese language.
