| 摘 要： | 文章利用超越成本对数函数（TCF）估计了中国银行业1998—2005年的成本函数，计算出中国银行业规模经济效率。实证研究结果表明：中国银行业普遍存在着规模不经济问题，主要是源于传统信贷业务上的规模不经济，在投资业务上却是显现出了规模经济的特征。针对上述检验结果提出了重视银行资产的管理、改变业务的增长模式以及鼓励混合并购的扩张方式三大政策建议。

| Abstract: | This research calculates the value of the scale efficiency for China＇s commercial banks by using transcendental cost function （TCF）, based on the sample data from 1998 to 2005. It gets the conclusion that assets expansion is not based on the scale economies for China＇s commercial banks, and there is a progress in scale efficiency in expansion of investment business but not loan business. Finally it puts forth policy suggestions, including strengthening bank asset management, changing business growth model and encouraging expansion by conglomerate merger. |
