| 摘 要： | 查尔斯·狄更斯是19世纪英国的杰出小说家,在英国古典作家中,其成就仅次于莎士比亚。本文论述了狄更斯创作的三个不同阶段的特点,他的创作从乐观向上的基调转向抑郁,表现了狄更斯从人道主义思想出发,对资本主义社会的黑暗进行揭露与批判,对其独特的艺术成就有所论及。

| Abstract: | Charles Dickens was the greatest writer in the19th century in Britain.His achievements were second to those of Shakespeare.This paper gives a brief account of the characteristics of his three different writing stages and his unique artistic achievements.The tone of his works changed from naive optimism to gloom,which shows Dickens criticized and exposed the evils of the capitalist society from the humanist point of view. |
