| Abstract: | Based on the theory of Concurrent Engineering(CE) implementation,a systematic approach of product requirements modeling is presented in this paper.With a deep understanding of the builtin relationship between the requirement modeling and CE implementation processes,the proposed methodology,including definitions of a product requirements topology,the associated representation templates,and other enabling techniques,is discussed and developed to systemize the activities of requirement acquisition,analysis,and organization so that a more effective of CE implementation in product design process can be expected. |
