| Abstract: | From the angle of systematic analysis the casting defects are regarded as systematic faults and are diagnosed and forecasted by the fault tree analysis (FTA) method.The feasihility of this new method (FTA) has been prored by many casting eramples,and many positive results have been obtained in the research.The authors of this paper belicve that FTA method has great prospects in the realization of scientific management of casting quality and the diagnosis of casting defects. |
