三维爆炸场冲击波检测与可视化

摘    要:根据冲击波的物理属性及其在数值模拟结果中的特点,将压力场转换为压力梯度场;然后在压力梯度场的体绘制过程中,通过合理设置空气介质的传递函数,实现了三维爆炸场冲击波特征的检测与可视化处理. 为了提高可视化效率,对基于光线投射的体绘制过程,采用查找表和包围盒等技术进行了加速处理. 算例测试结果表明,本文方法可以清晰展示三维爆炸场的冲击波特征.

Abstract:A method to extract and visualize shock waves in 3-D explosion fields was proposed in this paper. In this method, a pressure field in the 3-D explosion field was firstly changed into the gradient field; the gradient field was then visualized by the volume rendering; and finally the transfer function for air medium was properly set to highlight shock waves. To improve the efficiency of visualization of the method, several techniques, including the lookup table and the bounding box, were used to accelerate the ray casting involved in the volume rendering. Visualized results obtained from numerical examples prove that the proposed method can expose the shock waves in 3-D explosion fields clearly.
