| Abstract: | A spectral approximations scheme using the modified Legendre rational functions for the Burgers equation on the half line is investigated.The approximation solution possesses the essential conservation properties satisfied by the solution of the original equation.The convergence of the approximate scheme is proved by error estimate method. |
