Liu Shipei inquired deeply into Confucian classics, historiography, the study of various Scholars' thought, study of characters, ethic, and geography, as a result, he brilliantly expounded social evolutionism, proving the inevitability and reasonableness of Chinese bourgeois democratic revolution.
