| 摘 要： | 图像压缩需要快速编码，并行处理技术是一种高效的图像压缩技术。向量量化是一种很有前途的压缩方法，并且非常适合并行处理。提出了一种新的向量量化并行处理结构，该结构能明显减少通信延迟。

A New Computer Architecture for Vector Quantization |

| Abstract: | Parallel technology is an efficient method for image compression because the encoding/decoding needs fast processing. Vector quantization is a hopeful image compression method and very suitable for parallelism. A new parallel architecture is presented for encoding of vector quantization. The new parallel architecture can deduct communication latency obviously. |
