| 摘 要： | 褚辅成是浙江辛亥革命的元勋之一。甲午战争之后,在日益深重的民族危机面前,褚辅成跨出国门,在东京加入中国同盟会,由传统士绅转变成一位革命者。在浙江辛亥革命中,褚辅成积极谋划、参与组织和领导省城杭州以及嘉兴等地的光复活动。光复以后,他又为浙江省政治秩序的稳定、民主政治的推行作出了积极贡献。但由于其阶级的局限性,政治理论与经验的不成熟,褚辅成在革命活动中也存在严重不足:在光复之后浙江省新生政权的巩固与建设中,褚辅成等革命派排斥立宪派,不能与原立宪派人士真诚合作,致使民主政治建设事业遭受顿挫。
