| Abstract: | The commercial culture in Shanxi contains rich contents. Chang's Family in Yuci, one of the most celebrated clan, is not only celebrated in commerce and education, but distinctive in the folk residence culture. It can be generalized as follows: grand scale, well-knit structure, encyclopaedic culture and exquisite taste. It embodies the style of the North folk residence in Qing dynasty, and melts Chang's culture into its family style. |
