| Abstract: | Using PASCO physics experiment system, the shear modulus and the torsional constant of metal wire with different material and radius were measured by torsional pendulum analysis. This method was simple and reliable. It avoided the complicated installation and operation of traditional experiment. Using the known parameters, the method could be conveniently used to measure the moment of inertia of any irregular objects. |
