| 摘 要： | 文化缺省是在交际过程中对交际双方共有的文化背景知识的省略。由于不同文化所具有的独特性质和内涵不同,在翻译过程中必然会出现文化缺省现象。从文化角度出发,分析了外宣翻译中的文化缺省现象及其成因,提出了译者在处理文化个性时应采取必要的补偿手段及在外宣翻译上的三个补偿策略。

| Abstract: | Cultural default is defined as the absence of cultural background knowledge shared by the two sides in the process of communication. Cultural default phenomenon is inevitable in the process of translation,because the different culture has the unique nature and connotation. Starting from cultural perspective,the cultural default phenomenon of international publicity translation and its causes are analyzed. Finally,three compensation strategies of international publicity translation are proposed. |
