试析汉语拟声词从补语到状语地位的嬗变原因

在上古汉语到近代汉语的发展过程中,拟声词的句法功能在其发展演变过程中存在着一种很不平衡的现象：拟声词作补语的现象基本消失,作状语的功能却大大增加。拟声词从补语到状语地位的转变是由汉民族具象性思维决定的,而在此之前拟声词作补语现象的大量存在,是为了适应诗歌韵律的要求而作出的调整,是汉民族整体思维的反映。

An Analysis on Causes for Transmutations of Onomatopoeic Words from Complements to Adverbial Modifiers

During the developing process from the ancient Chinese language to the modern one,there exist an imbalance of onomatopoeic words’ syntactic function,i.e.the complements of onomatopoeic words have nearly disappeared while their adverbial modifiers have greatly increased.The causes for these transmutations are that the Han people’s thoughts reflect the real world.The complements of the onomatopoeic words are used to adapt to the rhythms of the poems,which is another reflection of the Han people’s holistic thinking.
