归有光叙事文之短和议论文之长

现代评论者片面注重归有光的叙事散文,给予较高评价,对于他的另外一些议论文,却少有人提及。即使偶有提及者,也多持鄙薄之态。其实,归有光的叙事散文中有一些题材太过狭小、材料过于琐碎的应景文章,而有些议论文既表现了他的精神品格,也表现了他的政治思想、文学主张,是值得肯定的佳作,应该引起我们足够的重视。

A Comparison of Gui Youguang's Prose and His Argumentation

Modern critics attach too much importance to Gui Youguang’s narrative prose one-sidedly and give high value on it;while his argumentations are scarcely mentioned.Sometimes they are mentioned but despised.However,the subjects of the routine articles in his narrative prose are narrow and some materials are trivial;while some of his argumentations which deserve praise and more attention display his spiritual character and his political thoughts and his literary ideas.
