光盘机检索特性测试及提高速度精度方法研究

光盘具有存储密度高、寿命长、检索快、抗污染等独特优点,是计算机外部设备中有很强生命力的新产品.因此,开展对光盘驱动器(简称光盘机)高速检索技术的研究,具有重要意义和实用价值.菲利浦公司新产品VP410型光盘驱动器功能齐全,检索速度较快,对该类机型的解剖和改进工作无疑是有价值的,问题是如何做到无损检测以及进一步提高检索速度并保证检索精度.本文以VP410型光盘机为例,介绍了如何用软件方法无损检测径向电机的动态特性及有关参数,并介绍了三种提高检索速度和两种提高检索精度的软件方法.本方法使整机检索速度成倍提高,效果显著.1 检索特性的软件测试方法光盘机在大跨距快速检索时,须靠径向拖板电机驱动.检索中电机速度有无变化、如何变化、对指定帧号是振荡式逼近还是单向性逼近、不同跨距下检索时间各为多少,这些动态特性对研究者十分重要.笔者在充分了解VP410型光盘机各种指令及特点之后,巧妙组合使用有关指令,使光盘机不断改变运动状态,根据响应结果便可得出规律,具体步骤如下:

Search Characteristics Measurement and Improvement of Speed Accuracy for a Laser Disk Drive

The study of high-speed random search technique in the laser disk drive is of great importance to the development of computer peripherals. The nondestructive measurement with softwares, for example,for a type VP410 laser disk drive made by Phillip Co. is described. The search dynamic characteristic curve and parameters of a radial guide slot motor are given. Three methods for increasing search speed and two for improving search accuracy with softwares are proposed. It is shown that the speed of short range pass search is increased by threefold and that of medium-range search by mearly twofold.
