静电粒子加速器中束流光路的计算与设计

摘    要:设计、优化静电加速器需要对其束流光路进行精确计算,现有束流输运程序不能对束流经过某些复杂结构极面的电磁元件进行模拟。该文比较了不同输运程序,扩展了通常仅用于模拟离子源引出的Igun程序,对束流经过静电透镜进行了计算。根据Poisson/Superfish、Parmela程序的特点,对特殊的静电元件,用前者计算电场,再导入Parmela程序进行整个光路的模拟计算。该方法可以计算束流经过复杂极面的电磁元件作用后的传输特性。实例计算表明,靶点束斑直径约为1cm,与实际测量结果比较吻合。

Abstract:Precise calculations of the beam optics are needed to design and optimize electrostatic accelerators. However, some beam transport programs can not simulate electromagnetic elements with complicated structures. This paper compares different transport programs including the Igun program developed to analyze electrostatic lens, which is often used to simulate ion sources. Based on Poisson/Superfish and Parmela's characteristics, the electric fields were calculated with the former program. Then the whole beam envelope and phase diagrams were simulated with Parmela for the special electrostastic elements. The whole beam line can be computed when the particle beam is within arbitrary pole boundary electromagnetic fields. In one beamline example, the beam size on the target was about 1 cm. The simulation results agree well with measured results.
