对＂三增九虚＂的批判是《论衡》一书的重要内容,也是王充＂疾虚妄＂的直接对象。在批判虚妄推翻一个现存世界的同时,王充也构建着他的世界。＂破＂＂立＂之间,对以虚幻为显著特色的奇幻小说产生了重大影响,＂疾虚妄＂一定程度上成为制约玄幻小说发展的枷锁,而其理性精神为奇幻小说增添了顽强的生命力。

To criticize ＂Jiuxusanzeng＂,which means three kinds of exaggeratedness and nine kinds of phoniness,is the major content in Henglun,and the direct object that Wangchong’s theory of ＂discarding phoniness and preposterousness＂ targets on.It is believed that Wangchong has criticized phoniness and preposterousness and overthrew an existed world,meanwhile,constructed his own ones.Scholars have always made full expansion in terms of ＂discarding＂,however,so lack of those in terms of ＂approving＂.The notion of ＂discarding＂ and ＂approving＂ have significant impact on fictions after ages.Not to mention this impact on the legend fictions which characterized by imagination.
