明清时期温州地区官府士绅的禁奢活动

明清时期，温州地区的奢侈风气引起了官府和士绅的高度重视。为此，他们以实际行动努力革除这种奢侈风气。对于官府实施禁令来说，禁止奢侈风气中的僭越，建立一个尊卑有序的社会是其主要目标；而对于士绅的改革而言，他们直接面对庶民大众，他们的禁奢是从自我到宗族乡村的过程。同时，官方和士绅在禁奢活动中的作用往往是交互的。

Local Governments＇ and Country Gentlemen＇s Practices of Banning on Luxurious Custom in Wenzhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, luxurious custom was prevailed in Wenzhou. So, the local governments and country gentlemen paid sufficient attention to the custom and engaged in actual deeds to eliminate the custom. From the perspective of local governments, its main purpose was to keep the society structure stable and maintain a rigidly stratified society. From the country gentlemen＇s points of view, because they directly faced the ordinary people, they would practise the efforts firstly by themselves, then in their clans and finally in the villages. At the same time, the banning efforts of the local governments and country gentlemen were interacted.
