Abstract: | The viscose rayon was pretreated with four different pre-treatment reagents respectively, and the preparation of activated carbon fibers (ACF) was performed under same carbonizing and activating conditions. The pore size distribution, the specific surface area, and the pore structure parameter of these viscose-based ACF were studied by using quartz spring balance BET-weight method. The experiment result indicates that the pore size distribution and the pore structure parameter of ACF is varied by using different prctreatment reagents. The similarities of those samples are that they all possess relatively central pore size distribution and high micro-pore ratio. The viscose-based ACF pretreated by inorganic acid HX has abundant microporc volume and higher specific area. |
