A Comparative Study on German Dual System and Japanese Production and Education Cooperation

Both German Dual System and Japanese Production and Education Cooperat ion are regarded as successful examples. Because of their better flexibility, pr acticality and adaptability to the society, the two vocational models can both m eet the needs of social and the economic development for the talented persons. T he two models have also made great contributions to Germany and Japan in the dev elopment of economics, science and technology. In this article the two models ar e compared with each other in forming background, main forms and reforms. Some s imilarities and differences are found. These can give us lots of reference when we study the two vocational education models to develop our vocational education according to the specific situation of our own country.
