论孟子"充实之谓美"的美学意蕴

摘    要:孟子美学中的“充实之谓美”命题所包含的审美意蕴是丰富而深刻的。它在美善不分或美善合一的先秦时期,明确地将“美”置于“善”之上;它把孔子内省式的悦神悦志过渡到形神统一的“充实”的概念,并突破了孔子温柔敦厚的主张,高扬了阳刚之美;同时,它显示了一系列的生命特征,其总体过程暗含的发展过程与自然的生命节律是相契合的。此外,“充实之谓美”还具有“与民同乐”的社会内涵。

Abstract:Mencius' aesthetic connotation of proposition that fullness was beauty was rich and profound.It obviously lay beauty above kindness in the Pre-qing Period when beauty and kindness were not distinguished or they were united together.Mencius put forward the concept of fullness uniting form and spirit,which was developed from Confucius' introspective aesthetic thoughts of making spirit and will pleasant,broke Confucius' proposition of gentleness and kindness and advocated masculine beauty.At the same time,it revealed a series of life features and its development course and the life rhythm of natural matched each other.Besides,the proposition that fullness was beauty contained social connotation of sharing happiness with people.
