观测指标标识符逻辑命名与编码系统(LOINC)数据库介绍

在卫生信息领域中,卫生信息标准的统一,是进行信息资源交换与共享的基本前提。从目前我国临床实验室信息标准化方面看,实际上我们尚缺的主要信息标准之一就是临床实验室数据信息的通用编码标准。作为所有临床信息系统均可采用的,旨在标识各种实验室检测项目和临床观测指标的,观测指标标识符逻辑命名与编码系统 (LOINC)数据库,正是这样一个通用编码标准。从当前国际形势看,政府卫生部门和商业性医疗机构认可和采用LOINC代码的西方发达国家日趋增多。为此,主要对LOINC数据库的背景、用途、内容及国外应用现状进行了概括介绍。同时,作者还建议结合中国国情,为LOINC的顺利引进和尽快普及全面、深入、细致地做好基础性准备工作,促进临床实验室信息编码标准化的早日实现。

Introduction of the Logical Observation Identifier Names and Codes(LOINC) database

In the domain of healthcare information, the unification of healthcare information standards is an essential precondition for information interchanging, pooling and sharing. At present, it is a universal clinical laboratory information coding standard that further standardization of clinical laboratory information actually needs in China. Then, the Logical Observation Identifier Names and Codes (LOINC) Database, a universal names and codes for laboratory tests and clinical observations that could be used by all clinical information systems, should be an exsiting coding scheme adoptable for this case. Internationally, there are more and more governmental health agencies and commercial healthcare institutions endorsing and adopting the LOINC codes in western developed countries. In this paper, a brief Introduction of the LOINC Database, including its background, purpose, content and international adoptions and applications is mainly provided. Thereafter, it is suggested that basic preparations should be completely and thoroughly unfolded for the successful introduction and popularization of LOINC, according to the situation in our country, to accelerate the realization of the laboratory information coding standardization in the near future.
