向量小波在图像拼接中的应用

摘    要:利用一种紧支撑的具有正交性同时又具有对称性的向量小波,对两幅图像进行了镶嵌和拼接,此种方法使得拼接后图像无明显的拼接缝且具有数据量小、拼接速度快等特点.

Abstract:In this paper a certain multiwavelet with compact support, orthogonality and symmetry is applied to image mosaic. Border processing becomes simple with symmetry of the multiwavelet, by making symmetric periodic extension to the borders only. Furthermore, its orthogonality makes data volume processed small, thus avoids data redundancy in transformation. Experiment results show that the image mosaic appears no obvious sharp edge and the images assembled are blended gradually over the borders with a small data volume and high speed.
