| 摘 要： | 地理信息系统要想发展，必须走开放式的道路，将分布式体系和面向对象的思想引入网络GIS系统，是地理信息系统发展的必然趋势。文中阐述了分布式对象的GIS的概念和设计思想，探讨了其网上实现的体系结构，对于GIS插件、智能化用户前端、三级客户／服务器系统等重要问题进行了研究，并对其关键技术进行了分析。
