Functional Genome Systematics

Along with the complement of Human Genome Project (HGP), we enter the post-genome era. With the acce- lerating availability of variant kinds of functional genome data, it is demanded that experimental techniques and theoretical analysis must be combined in the research on functional genome. Therefore, functional genome systematics comes into forth. This article introduces the generation of functional genome systematics. It also gives a further introduction on the development of functional genome systematics in China, which focuses on the research object, characteristic, method, and its contribute to modern medicine.
