欧洲纺织品和服装的中国风

中国风(Chinoiserie)是指一种追求中国情调的西方图案或装饰风格,在绘画、雕塑、建筑等方面都有应用。在纺织·服装领域,中国风主要表现于纺织品纹样和服装款式、色彩的设计。中国风不是一般意义上的中国风格,它是从属于欧洲巴洛克(Baroque)和罗可可(Rococo)的一种艺术风格,有其特定的内涵。这种风格,反映了欧洲人对中国艺术的理解和对中国风土人情的想像,又掺杂了西方传统的审美情趣。中国古代染织文化对欧洲产生过很大影响;具有中国情调或中国风的欧洲纺织品的出现,可以上溯到较早的历史阶段;中国风这一称谓的使用则较迟,一般认为始于十八世纪的法国。十九世纪以后,西方服装开始较多地在面料、图案、款式和色彩方面吸收和模仿中国。本世纪出现了以中国风命名的高级时装系列。关于这种风格,国内介绍很少,国外研究也不多。本文拟从历史发展的角度对此加以探讨,把欧洲纺织品的中国风纹样分成三种类型进行美学分析,并将桑洛朗(Yves Saint Laurent)的作品作为中国风服装的一个实例进行讨论。

CHINOISERIE IN EUROPEAN TEXTILES AND COSTUME

Chinoiserie is a western style representing fanciful European interpretations of Chinese styles. The history of Chinese styles used by western fabrics might date back to the period of Rome Empire, but the earliest appearance of a chinoiserie of textiles motif was in the 17th century, and was used mainly in conjunction with Baroque and Rococo style. In this paper, the topic is dealt in the following six respects. 1. the early influence of Chinese silk designs on western textiles, 2. the development of chinoiserie, 3. chinoiserie in textiles motif and costume design, 4. the technique background of chinoiserie of textiles, 5. three types of European textiles'motif of chinoi serie, 6. the chinoiserie evening ensemble line of Yves Saint Laurent.
