| Abstract: | In order to reduce the reactive power and increase the power factor of the electric network, people install reactive-load compensation equipment in the low-voltage power supply and distribution system commonly. This paper introduces the main factors of influencing the power factor, the methods for increasing the power factor and reducing the reactive power, and the common mode of the reactive-load compensation. |
