| Abstract: | It was thought that the decline of giant panda was resulted from Big Ice Period. However, scientific research and historical records showed that giant panda had lived in the southwest area of China prior to the emergence of human being and the rapid reduction of giant panda's habitat area has been related to the quick increase of population and the continuous expansion of human's living area since Holocene. |
