| Abstract: | Lost motion is an important subject in the study of mechnical transmission and manipulator. By analyzing the process of it, this paper discusses the essence of lost motion and the close relations between its occurrence and the force situation of the transmission chain. Furthermore the paper presents the concept-interruption of connection and obtains the segment equations of lost motion. It will be of great significance to the study of the dynamic error and the actual motion of the mechanism under the impact load. |
