| 摘 要： | 语言经济性是语言普遍性的一个重要方面,是语用学不可忽视的研究领域。本文将以对比分析的方法,讨论英汉语言经济性在语用方面的不同体现。并得出结论,唯有做功量与效果得到平衡时的语言是最经济的。

| Abstract: | Language economy is regarded as one crucial aspect of linguistic universalism which cannot be ignored. From a contrastive approach, the present writer discusses the various pragmatic reflections of language economy. It is concluded that the language is the most economical only if effort and effect are balanced. |
