2000～2009年中国SCI论文的零被引数据分析

2000～2009年SCI收录的期刊共发表中国作者论文746577篇,其中零被引论文180675篇,占24.20%.刊载在影响因子(IF)0～2的期刊的零被引论文共有149208篇,占所有未被引用论文的82.58%.从绝对数看,零被引论文主要发表在低IF的期刊上.但是,如果将期刊按IF高低分段,计算发表在IF各区段期刊上的零被引论文占该IF区段发表论文总数的百分比(零被引率),零被引率并不随期刊的IF增高而降低;反而,IF在10～20的SCI收录期刊发表的中国论文零被引率最高,达到45.01%,部分原因是中国作者发表在SCI收录期刊中的"会议摘要"论文的零被引率高达93.81%.在去除"会议摘要"论文后,中国作者论文的零被引率变化趋势有所改变,IF为0的期刊刊载的中国作者论文零被引率最高,后随着IF升高零被引率逐渐降低,但是IF到达10后,零被引率再次升高,说明期刊的影响因子并不能完全代表论文的被关注度.

Analysis of non-cited articles from China published from 2000 to 2009 indexed by SCI

A total of 180675 non-cited articles from China were published by journals indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded(SCI-E) from 2000 to 2009,Of these,149208 articles(82.58%) were published in journals with an impact factor(IF) lower than 2,The majority of non-cited articles were published in the low-IF journals.However,the non-cited rate of articles did not decrease with an increase in IF.Articles published in journals with an IF of 10-20 had the highest non-cited rate(45.01%);this was partially related to the fact that the non-cited rate of published meeting abstracts amounted to 93.8%.However,when meeting abstracts were excluded,there was a change in the non-cited rate of articles from China:articles published in journals with an IF of 0 had the highest non-cited rate.There was a decrease in the non-cited rate with increasing IF;however,the non-cited rate increased again for articles published in journals with an IF above 10.These results indicate that IF does not necessarily reflect the quality of published articles.
