科技期刊是科技知识、成果、信息的重要载体和媒介,其主要目标是实现科学技术与科学知识的传播,并在传播过程中,发挥科研评价等重要作用。笔者在多年工作实践基础上,通过查阅大量文献资料,总结归纳出提高期刊知名度的有利条件、方法途径及主要措施。改善基础设施,改革工作方式,跟踪学科前沿,更新编辑知识,加强团队协作,保证期刊质量是科技期刊在竞争中提高期刊知名度的有利条件;增强编辑团队的凝聚力,调动作者投稿积极性,编辑积极主动与审者沟通,提高服务读者意识是提高期刊知名度的方法和途径;加强编辑队伍建设,优化资源配置,强化市场意识则是提高期刊知名度的主要措施。总之,提高期刊的知名度,通过促进作者、编者、专家、读者之间交流,可使学术思想与科技知识得到有效传播。
