Abstract:The self-oscillating instability in trimolecular reacting systems of the second kind is investigated in detail by making use of Hopf bifurcation theory. The result shows that the self-oscillating instability may occur both in the course of concentration and in the course of dilution. The time periodic solutions are obtined analytically. And the stability analysis further shows that the time periodic solutions both in the course of concentration and in the course of dilution are stable.
