| Abstract: | Romeo and Juliet and The Romance of the Western Bower are both famous dramas in the history of literature.The Romance of the Western Bower is a comedy while Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy. Both plays are about the love of two young people,but the writing techniques used by the two masters of language are quite different. The differences between the two plays in themes, characterization and lauguage using will be discussed in this thesis. |
