| Abstract: | The quality requirements on the crimped connection between wires and terminals on the plug connectors used in the Santana car are described. The factors affecting the requirements are discussed. Based on both experimental and theoretical investigation, the crimping technique, the design principle and the method for the rolling die as well as the calculating formula and optimal model are proposed Calculation results are found ingood agreement with the data collected in production practice. |
