摘    要:基于分形图像编码的基本思想和分形吸引子的特点,通过对图像的局部进行分形编码,然后进行分形插值解码,实现了图像的局部放大.实验表明,这种方法是一种有效的局部图像放大方法,克服了现有方法的缺点

Abstract:A new method is proposed to magnify a portion of an image based on the fact that the fractal attractor has details at every scale. The fractal codes, the coefficients of a set of contraction mappings, are determined by encoding the portion to be magnified with the fractal method. The fractal codes are then modified according to the formulae given, and the magnified image is obtained by decoding the modified fractal codes. A portion of LENNA image is enlarged by a factor of 8 with two methods, respectively, one is the new method described and the other is pixel duplication. Experimental results show that the new method is good for partial image magnification, and the block effect is overcome.
